Handmade with Aloha in Kona, Hawaii
Aloha Essence may have officially launched in 2023, but its roots run much deeper. Founder Rachel Cook’s journey began years earlier, sparked by a personal mission to find comfort and healing from harsh, chemical-laden products that left her feeling anything but refreshed. Her sensitivities to generic home and body care set her on a path of discovery—seeking natural, gentle ingredients that would soothe rather than irritate.
That quest led to a passion for creating simple, safe, and high-quality home and body products. Rachel began experimenting with handmade soaps and wax tarts, exploring how nourishing ingredients could work in harmony. What started as a personal project quickly turned into a form of artistry—and one that she joyfully shared with friends and family for over two decades.
In 2023, Rachel brought her long-time dream to life by launching Aloha Essence in beautiful Kona, Hawaii. The brand now offers a thoughtfully crafted collection of handmade soaps and wax melts infused with the spirit of the islands. Tourists and locals alike have fallen in love with the scents of Aloha Essence—carrying home a bit of island bliss with every bar or tart.
And now, with the launch of Aloha Essence’s online boutique in 2024, customers across the U.S. can bring that same tropical magic into their homes. Every product is a sensory invitation to daydream—about sun-kissed beaches, swaying palms, and the sweet scent of paradise.
